Emmett
Emmett was rescued from the East Valley Animal
Shelter 45 minutes before they were going to euthanize him. His coat was
so dirty, that he actually looked like he was grey, and not white. His
hair was so matted that it was actually hard to the touch. It was so
dreaded, that it was painful for him to be touched. He had a cracked
ankle bone, and was so frightened. He really did seem pretty hopeless.
But, in his eyes Benay saw a spark. And we could not leave him behind.
As soon as we brought him home, he went straight to
the groomer. When she shaved him, we were so surprised to discover
that he is white! And Happy! He was so incredibly happy to not have that
terrible matted shell on him. And in the months after, Emmitt blossomed
into the most amazing dog. He LOVES life like no other dog we have ever
rescued. Every day is clearly the BEST day for Emmitt.
Emmitt has blossomed into quite the star, too. From a
walk on roll on The Young & The Restless, Emmitt now has a semi re
occurring part on the show, that he shines in. He excels and delights
every time he is hired for print, commercials and TV shows.
